Tim Crowe’s grandniece and grandnephews pictured beside his medal belt
We were honoured today to host relatives of Tim Crowe, whose athletics medals are on display in Lár na Páirce. The family, who were in the area for the recent unveiling of a memorial plaque, are no strangers to Lár na Páirce — they recounted how, thanks to a chance meeting with Lár na Páirce chairman Seamus King, the search for their grand uncle’s childhood home that they had almost abandoned had been a success.
