Peter Kelly (1847-1908) of Kilnadeema was the third president of the GAA (1889-1895).
Involved in the GAA from its beginning, Kelly served as an umpire during the Loughrea hurling tournament of 1887.
Kelly was a Fenian[1], and received their nomination at the 1889 convention, when Maurice Davin resigned a second time in the face of a second Fenian takeover of the GAA, and was elected president.
